I chose this picture because it depicts a beautiful and wondrous bird in its natural habitat. When ever I look a this picture it makes me feel very in tuned with nature and I feel like I'm actually in the setting. The picture makes me feel very relaxed and takes away a lot of my worries. This picture portrays a species of bird called the Paradise parrot. The Paradise parrot no longer exists on earth and therefore is an extinct species. Every time I look at this picture it reminds me of how out of tuned we are with nature.It's not everyday we can see something like this out of our windows.This picture made me realize the harmful impact we have on our ecosystem. Pollution,poaching, and farm land are examples of just some of the factors that are causing many species of animals to become extinct, like the Paradise parrot.

My Tragic Flaw

If I had a tragic flaw it would be the thirst for power. Power is something that is wanted by all communists and dictators around the world. I can imagine myself being a strong king ruling a small piece of land but my thirst for power increases my greediness for more land and territory. I would order my military personnel to invade and conquer the nearby region. This would cause the ruler of the land to oppose in anger and soon there would be an all out war between me and his kingdom. I can imagine myself a greedy king not caring for the benefit of my people but for the great land and riches I was to obtain. I would give advice to all my generals setting plans and strategies to help prevail in battle. Drastically the number of deaths increase and people are fed up of my ruling. My people turn on me setting a plot to kill me. I then die by the hands of my own people and the war is forfeited leaving the two kingdoms in peace.
