Fate or Destiny?

How can we influence what will happen in our lives?

In my opinion i think that we can influence our lives in a good way by making the right choices and decisions. I think that the words we say and our interests influence the way we live our lives whether in a good way or bad way. I think we should take advice and guidance from our parents and teachers to help us make the right decisions to lead to a successful life. What we do in our life effects others around us and how we live in the future. I think we should practice making good decisions so we can have healthy and prosperous lives.

Is there such thing as fate or destiny? To what extent do you believe in fate?

No, personally I don't believe in fate or destiny. I think that everyone controls their own course in life and that there is no telling what will happen to us in the future. I think that destiny is something used to guide people along the right path but it doesn't clearly have an effect on anybody. I think that nothing is predetermined in our lives and anything is capable of happening. Fate is predetermined and personally I think that it controls a person's life more than anything. Many people die in horrible ways because they believe in fate but I personally think that fate is just a mere term to alter people's lives and scare them.

Blog #2: The Weird and Funny

Well, we enjoy looking at bizarre things because they stick out and are abnormal from the rest. Shows like Ripley's Believe it or Not and Fear Factor are entertainment to us. It's not everyday we can see a guy stuff his mouth with a thousand bees or eat live slimy beetles. These are the things that make us gross out and captivate our attention. We enjoy laughing at people who make mistakes because its abnormal, weird, and embarrasses the person. Also it's what keeps the entertainment business going and some people make a lot of money. Watching clips and movies that show bizarre and stupid things makes us laugh and feel thrilled. If we see something stupid, and very funny we go back and tell our friends about it and let them have there say on it. Watching somebody do something strange, and unnatural livens our feelings.

Hey, my name is Richard and I'm fifteen years old. I live in the Scarborough Toronto area and I enjoy playing basketball with my friends to pass time. I live with my two sisters both younger and my two parents. I'm a big fan of the Toronto Raptors and I hope they make the playoffs this season. Besides the Raptors I admire the skill and moves of Steve Nash, and Tim Duncan some of the greatest basketball players of our time. I also enjoy playing computer games and watching TV. I love eating pizza especially with extra cheese on top and I enjoy watching Family Guy and South Park sometimes just for a laugh or two. I like listening to music especially rap, and rnb. Cassidy, and T.I. are some of the skilled rappers I listen to. I enjoy watching action packed movies like Spiderman 3 and Rush Hour. One day I would like to meet Seth Macfarlane (creator of Family Guy) because he is such a talented person and can really make you laugh.
